Thoughts on Shame
Hebrews 12 verse 2 says Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
You do not need to carry shame as Jesus took your shame and nailed it to the cross. Walking free of shame is just a prayer away.
Heavenly Father, you are the best Dad I could ever have. Today I confess my sin, I acknowledge where I have hidden and I acknowledge the fruits of shame and the fig leaves I have kept around me to stop you really finding me. Forgive me for hiding in all the ways I do.
He has forgiven you and bought your forgiveness on the cross so just receive it. Say "I renounce shame with all my heart. I don't want it to cover my heart. I don't want to hide anymore. I break the agreement with shame. In the name of Jesus set me free to be who I really am. I receive your identity that I am a much-loved child".
Hand on heart I receive your honour Father and I declare that you are the glory and lifter of my head. let your anointing loose. I grab your freedom. I am loosed from the yoke of shame in the name of Jesus command it to be lifted from your heart, mind, thinking and break its hold on you in Jesus name.
Make sure you tell somebody close to you what you have done because I know because the flower in the desert can bloom. The Bible says goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life. Receive Father's grace, goodness and mercy in your life and you will flower and bloom like the flower in the desert. After all you are his child and He is love.
